Software Registration Transfer

Rockwell Software sends important product information and provides technical support to the person recorded as the registered owner of a Rockwell Software product. By keeping your registration up to date, you protect your software investment. Initially, software is automatically registered in the purchaser's name. If you transfer ownership of your Rockwell Software product, or if the contact person at your company changes, let us know by transferring the registration. You have two options to complete registration transfer:

Option 1: Software Registration Transfer Form. Download and submit via:

  • Email the completed form to ratechconnect_cs@ra.rockwell.com. You will receive a confirmation message from Contract Services with your Case Number. Allow 1-2 business days to process.
  • Or fax to Contract Services at 440-646-7905. Faxes must be accompanied with your signed authorization on company letterhead.

Option 2: Complete the Software Registration Transfer request on-line at http://activate.rockwellautomation.com/

  • Click on 'Transfer Software Registration' on the left menu navigation
