Industrial Ethernet is vital to manufacturing, and must be deployed in a manner that will provide service and reliability for many years. Resilience is an important characteristic of industrial Ethernet, maintaining multiple network paths to guard against failure of a single segment or element.This session of Rockwell Automation DFW User Group will discuss the various resilient Ethernet topologies and protocols to be used in industrial applications, and the performance of these topologies with respect to the control system.
