440E Lifeline™ 5 Cable Pull Switches are a series of smart safety devices that harness GuardLink® technology to keep your long conveyor runs performing safely and efficiently. Variants of these products include an e-stop and a tension output signal that could be hooked up to a tower light or a PLC (with diagnostics and machine monitoring made visible on a connected HMI screen). The self-monitoring units are PLe Cat 4-rated and quick to install, keeping your personnel safe from machine safety hazards and your operations free from the interference of false triggers. The Lifeline 5’s microprocessor technology constantly monitors the tension on the cable and is intelligent enough to differentiate between hazards (as indicated by direct pulls) and nuisance trips that cost time and money to your production.
