North Texas Region Personnel Announcement
I am pleased to announce that Richard Russell has accepted the position of Vice President of Sales – North Texas. Richard has been with The Reynolds Company for 20 years, serving as Senior Regional Manager of the North and West Texas regions, and will now assume responsibility for the Central Texas, East Texas, and Dallas/Fort Worth regions.
Richard began his career with Crouse-Hinds in Houston, Texas. After working seven years at Crouse-Hinds in the Gulf Coast, Richard then moved to the distribution world working for Warren Electric for nine years holding many positions, including Vice President of North Texas. He was intimately involved with The Reynolds Company acquisition of the Abilene and Odessa branches of Cummins Electric Supply, as well as the acquisition of five Warren Electric branches in 2002.
He played an important role in recruiting and building the North and West Texas regions. Richard has a Bachelor of Science degree –Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. He has served on several advisory committees for Rockwell Automation and Texas A&M University. Richard is a learner and a collaborator with a very deep and talented management/leadership team around him that will continue to help us grow and expand our market share. He is married to his lovely wife Tricia and has two fine sons, Gary and Andrew (aka Rooster). He is also the 2015 Don Reynolds Award winner, which is an annual award presented to the recipient after being nominated by their peers and is named after the founder of The Reynolds Company.
