ProSoft Fast Industrial Hotspot
The ProSoft Technology Fast Industrial Hotspot (RLX2-IHNF) provides secure wireless solutions for plant-floor, SCADA automation, and process control systems. It operates in 2.4 and 5GHz bands, including DFS Channels, and is good for both indoor and outdoor applications. ProSoft provides an EtherNet/IP wireless solution when a traditional physical Ethernet Network is not feasible. The Hotspot supports Access Point, Repeater, and Client modes.
You can use a Rockwell Automation Add-on Instruction (AOI) to add an RLX2-IHx series radio to Studio 5000 (ControlLogix and CompactLogix controller families). This will provide the radio status and diagnostic information as part of the Controller program.
